OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich ST230 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made to be mounted on all axle positions.
The tire ensures excellent all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread design, with the moderate siping detail, and the all season tire compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design firmly grips the road surface throughout the year, while the compound maintains its first-rate flexibility even in colder temperatures. The tread features wide circumferential grooves that actively prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint to promote a safer wet weather performance.
The tire’s internal structure consists of steel belts that reinforce the tire’s construction. This all steel structure keeps the tire’s optimal shape against the driving and load pressure affecting it. In this manner, the tire is easily controlled all year round and the tire’s load carrying capability is significantly enhanced. The tread’s special curb guards prevent impact damage from harming the tire’s casing and tread area. The better durability and damage resistance guarantee a safer driving experience.
The ST230 provides a longer lasting tread life. The symmetric ribbed tread design lengthens the tread life as the multiple groove sipes and the solid shoulder design work together to prevent uneven wear formations. In other words, the tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread life and the tire’s usability.
