OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich Commercial T/A Traction is a highway terrain, winter tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model has some SPECIAL TRAILER sizes as well, which should not be mounted on light trucks.
The tire offers a secure winter weather traction. The detailed symmetric tread design with the large siped tread blocks and the durable tire compound increase the cold temperature, dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps the tire pliable even in freezing temperatures, while the tread elements enhance the road grip. The zigzag groove detail and open shoulder pattern avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint. This tire was designed to withstand severe winter weather. Furthermore, it was pinned for studs that enhance the ice and snow grip. It received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol for its excellent performance.
The model was designed with a reinforced construction. This structure features reinforced steel belts that help ensure a safer performance. They enable the tire to withstand and carry heavy loads with ease, without allowing the tire shape to deform under the pressure affecting it. This significantly increases the model’s load capacity. The special construction also actively resists damage which may harm the tire’s casing. It prevents punctures, cuts and other damage that can cause the tire’s downtime or shorten its service life. This results in a safer heavy load performing capability.
The stronger construction and the flat footprint work together to boost the controllability. The structure maintains the ideal tire shape, while the footprint keeps the tire’s constant road contact. In this manner, the tire’s structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it while the tires are in motion, while it becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s steering instructions. This ensures the driver’s full control over the vehicle in various weather, guaranteeing a safer driving experience.
The Commercial T/A Traction extends its usability. The flat footprint and the durable tire compound lengthen the tread life with the longer lasting, even tread wear rate. The flat footprint and the optimally placed tread blocks allow the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively prevent irregular tread wear formations on the tire’s surface. The durable compound consists of wear-resistant materials that decrease the tread wear rate, which lengthens the tread life and the usability. As a result, the tire guarantees a longer lasting tread life.
