TV-7 test strong.
Up for sale is a set of four (4) Philco branded, type 41, ST style amplifier tubes.
The bases are tight with no loose particles inside any tube or base.
These Philco 41's are from 1936-1940 production and were tested for transconductance (Gm), noise, gas,
and
shorts on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/U tube tester using a digital meter for greater accuracy.
For the type 41 tube to be considered "new" a TV-7/U reading of 60 (Gm=1500) is needed.
The TV-7/U minimum recommended value (65%) for this tube is 40 (Gm=1000).*Data is from the RCA Receiving Tube Manual.
