The Goodyear Eagle Sport TZ is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles.
This model was designed for performance in summer weather conditions. The tire promotes a secure summer weather performance. The asymmetric tread design and the polymer compound increase the tire’s grip on dry and wet weather surface conditions. They enhance the gripping ability with the additional biting edges, while the compound helps prevent heat build-up in hot summer temperatures. The tread’s circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning by channeling water away from the footprint. This model is not suited for winter weather performance.
The tire puts an emphasis on high speed controllability. The asymmetric tread design features three center ribs which maintains the surface contact throughout the drive. This upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This tread design, along with the heat-resistant compound and the durable construction, manages to ensure the tire’s high speed durability. They ease the pressure off the tire, prevent heat build-up and maintain the ideal tire shape under the high speed pressure to enable the tire’s best high speed performing ability.
The ideal tread design influences the maneuvering capability. The detailed, high-density siping placement along the tread area shortens braking distance. This creates friction between the tire and the road surface, which enables extra braking power. The tread design’s shoulder block placement heightens the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during the drive. This enables the tire’s stronger grip during cornering and maneuvering, optimizing the tire’s surface grip during the drive.
The tread design and the summer compound enable extended tread life. The asymmetric ribbed tread design optimizes the surface contact and enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations across the tire’s surface. The compound’s heat resistance, on the other hand, actively prevents heat build-up along the tread area by easing the driving pressure off the tire. The Goodyear Eagle Sport TZ promises a quiet comfortable driving experience. The asymmetric tread’s variable pitch sequence helps lower the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion.
