The Double Coin FD405 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle’s drive axle.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The detailed and stabilized tread elements work together with the durable tire compound to boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The wide groove detail enhances the hydroplaning resistance by channeling water and slush from the footprint. These tread elements and the special stone ejecting knobs located in the grooves keep the footprint clean. They eject rocks stuck between the tread elements, before they can drill into the tire’s casing, harming the tire in the process. The prevention of stone retention and the all weather traction enhance the year round performance.
The tread design and the durable tire compound work together to improve the model’s fuel efficiency. The tread pattern allows the model to improve the pressure distribution along the tread area, which eases the pressure off the tire. The compound’s traction and heat resistance also manage to control the pressure affecting the model. This combination significantly lowers the rolling resistance, which is the pressure determining the vehicle’s fuel intake during its performance. The lessened rolling resistance decreases the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, guaranteeing a fuel and environmentally conscious driving experience.
The FD405 offers a lengthened usability. The deeper tread depth and the optimal pressure distribution work together to extend the tread life and the tire’s usability. This combination ensures the tire’s balanced pressure distribution along the entire tread area. The optimal tread design enables the tire to closely follow the road surface throughout the drive, avoiding irregular pressure distribution and preventing uneven tread wear. The durable compound’s wear-resistant rubber materials avoid premature tread wear, boosting the tread life length. In this manner, the tire provides an extended service life.
