The Cosmo CT588 Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.
The special tread pattern promotes excellent all weather traction. Thanks to the five-rib symmetric tread design the tire firmly grips the road in dry, wet and winter weather. The four wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. This enhances the wet weather traction and promotes a safer year round driving experience.
The special circumferential grooves also upgrade the model's braking ability. They provide additional biting edges to offer a safer braking capability by allowing a shortened braking distance. The better braking ensures a secure drive. The five-rib symmetric tread design also boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The maintained road contact guarantees stability against the driving pressure affecting the tire, while the it promotes a quick and precise steering response to the driver's commands. The combination of the increased braking ability, steering responsiveness and precision and the driving stability improves the tire's all weather handling and controllability.
The CT588 Plus offers an advanced construction and tire compound that work together to enhance the model's durability for high speed and long distance driving. The increased durability ensures a safer driving experience. The tread pattern and the strengthened casing offer a longer lasting tread life. The tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread surface, which prevents irregular wear patterns from forming. The lengthened even wear extends the tire's usability and the tread life. The stronger casing allows the tire to be able to withstand retreading if needed.
