    Up for sale is a nice set of three (3) type 30,
    ST-style
    , vacuum tubes.
    Pictured left to right are a pair of Silvertones and an RCA Radiotron.
    They were
    tested for transconductance(Gm), noise, gas,
    and
    shorts on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/U tube tester.
    For the type 30 tube to be considered "new", a TV-7/U reading of 36 (Gm=900*) is needed.   *Data is from the RCA Receiving Tube Manual.
    The TV-7/U minimum recommended value (65%) for the 30 type
    tube
    is 23 (Gm=575).
