The Brilliant Silver exterior paint is just that, brilliant: a perfectly glossy, consistent, deep finish. The paint-application technology Mercedes uses is well-known for being state-of-the-art, and it shows here on the S55 which retains a close-to-showroom presentation. In the same way, body-panel fit and alignment is virtually perfect. It's clear that prior owners of this luxury-performance sedan gave it consistent, regular care. Even lower-body surfaces are free of wear, much less damage. All chrome trim-from the front grille to the quad-outlet rare exhaust tips-is properly shiny and undamaged. Emblems-including the bespoke three-pointed hood ornament, front-fender engine identification, and rear-valance model designation and Mercedes emblem-are all properly in place and unscarred. Cabin glass and lighting lenses are crystal clear. AMG-branded, spilt-spoke, 3-piece-style, alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin@ 305/40-18 all-season performance tires.
Inside, the color theme is rich, dark supple leather with ample wood trim. All interior surfaces-upholstery, dashboard, switchgear, and carpeting-retain excellent, like-new condition.
