OVERVIEW
The Hankook AH37 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle’s steer axle.
The tire ensures a fuel efficient performance. The symmetric ribbed pattern’s constant road contact enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving forces along the tread area, which eases the pressure affecting the tire. This significantly decreases the tire’s rolling resistance, which is the pressure that determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The lowered rolling resistance in turn decreases the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, which guarantees a fuel and environmentally conscious driving experience.
The tread pattern and the durable compound work together to lengthen the tread life. The tread’s symmetric ribbed pattern, with the optimal siping pattern and the solid shoulder ribs, closely follows the road surface. These tread elements enable the tire to equally distribute the driving pressure along the entire tire surface. The evenly spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid the formation of irregular tread wear on the tread area. The durable tire compound manages to lengthen the tread life by greatly slowing the tread wear rate down. The slower even tread wear guarantees an extended tread life.
The model is easily controlled. The ribbed tread pattern, with the wide and solid shoulder ribs, enhances the tire’s controllability in all conditions. The ribs maintain the tire’s road contact, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tread’s 3D zigzag siping pattern upgrades the braking capability. The sipes create friction and stabilize the tread elements at the moment of braking, which improves the tire’s contact with the road surface and shortens the braking distance. In this manner, the tire ensures a secure control over the vehicle in all conditions.
The tire features a reinforced internal structure. Its construction features a strengthened belt and carcass structure which maintain their optimal shape under the driving and load pressure. The tire’s structure does not deform under the pressure affecting it. The constant optimal shape enables the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, which increases the tire’s load durability and performing capability. The better load handling capability makes the tire perfect for commercial applications.
The AH37 ensures great all weather traction. The durable all season tire compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design, with the 3D siping pattern, enhance the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility throughout the year, even in colder temperatures, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tread design upgrades the grip on the road surface in all conditions. The tread’s circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint and enhance the wet and winter weather performance, offering a secure driving experience.
