OVERVIEW
The Continental Conti Hybrid HS3 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle’s steer axle.
These specific tires are Dealer Take Off Tires. This means that the tire was once mounted on a vehicle before taken off by a dealer at a dealership. These tires have not been driven on. They have 100% of tread life remaining.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tread design and all season tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread’s siping detail increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface all year round. They, along with the tread’s circumferential grooves, effectively avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The all season compound maintains its flexibility throughout the year, even in colder winter weather. The better all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure a safer driving experience.
The model guarantees a longer lasting tread life. The special two-layer compound’s enhanced high mileage performance ensures an extended usability. This compound diminishes the tread wear rate prevents excessive tread wear. The symmetric tread’s maximized road contact area manages to equally circulate the driving pressure along the tread area. The evenly spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread and service life by avoiding irregular tread wear formations.
The Conti Hybrid HS3 offers a fuel efficient performance. The tread design and the two-layer compound’s base work together to lower the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance determines how much energy the vehicle must consume to keep the tires in motion, as it is the external driving pressure that affecting the tires. The lessened rolling resistance decreases the vehicle’s CO2 emissions and fuel usage, which guarantees a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly performance.
