OVERVIEW
The Accelera Omikron A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Accelera offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tread pattern and the all season tire compound work together to ensure first-rate all weather traction. The specific tread block sequence increases the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability and promotes excellent performance. The tread’s self-cleaning nature maintains a clean footprint by eliminating mud and snow from between the tread elements. This, along with the effective hydroplaning resistance of the two main tread grooves and the notched shoulder design, the tire provides superb all year round driving safety.
The model performs well both on and off-road. The special stepped edges of the tread blocks and the Z-shaped siping design boost the off-road performing capability and all terrain traction. As a result, the tire is able to conquer all loose, soft and uneven road surfaces and ensures a safer drive. The excellent off-road performance is further enhanced with the stone retention prevention. The same tread design that maintains a clean footprint also ejects rocks from between the tread elements and guarantee a safer driving experience.
The tread design’s interlocked center rib and intermediate tread blocks keep the tire on the road at all times. They, with the two kinds of siping detail, upgrade the model’s controllability. Its steering responsiveness becomes sharper and more accurate, while the model is secured against the driving pressure. The tire does not wobble during the drive and it quickly reacts to the driver’s commands. The tire maintains its stability even during cornering. The stepped edges of the tread blocks increase the number of biting edges and ensure a safer cornering and maneuvering ability.
The Omikron A/T offers a comfortable on-road driving experience. The tread pattern with the two kinds of siping detail ensure that the tire closely follows the road surface at all times. This lowers the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin and decreases the driving disturbance at all times, offering a more enjoyable drive.
