Description
One RCA Radiotron UV-202 and one Cunningham C-302 tube, the very early transmitting triode most closely related to the #10 tube with the balloon/globe shaped, tipped bulb. Firm brass bases, silver colored plates, very bright filament, tipped glass, no chips in tips. The UV-202/C-302 tube is in some respects is an early version of the UX210/UX-210, CX310/CX-310, and #10 tube- having similar gain, but also having a lower power capacity/output- they are not interchangeable. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Tubes are matched for structure and dynamic gain and test at 1100, 1050 where pass/fail is 790 micromho, when tested as a #10 tube. As you likely know, these tubes do not have flashed getters. I have tested them with a 400V plate, observing a steady quiescent plate current with no drift, so they do not have any gas. The tubes have the same exact structure inside and out- as you know, RCA and Cunningham were one at this point. Many other lots of tubes for sale this week.
