    Description

    Two, new in original box, RCA  JAN CRC 5R4GY tubes, military issue.  The 5R4GY tube can of course be used in applications calling for the 5R4G and 5R4GA tubes. Black plates, hanging filament supports, dual D getters, lower silvering, brown micanol bases.. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated, just to make sure. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes test at 168-167 and 167-166 where pass/fail is 80. These are relative numbers and do not indicate percentages. Tubes have the same exact structure inside and out, having date codes of "H6E" and "H5E", November-December and September-October 1944, wartime manufacture.
    These are likely the closest replacement to a Western Electric 274B, if you are on a budget.
