    Description

    Two, National Union JAN CNU 5U4G, VT-244 tubes, military issue. Black plates, hanging filament supports, D getter, lower silvering. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes test at 155-151 and 155-150 where pass/fail is 80. These are relative numbers and do not indicate percentages. New in box, wartime VT-244 tubes regularly test 160 +/- 5 on my tester, so these are very strong. Tubes have the same exact structure inside and out, having date codes of "IU" and "IN", 14 weeks apart in late 1944, wartime manufacture.
