From an original find in Richmond, Virginia, never before offered.
Thin-paper 1901 British India Postal Card postmarked "MADRAS 17 OCT 01" addressed to "Rev. John Griffin, American Mission, Cairo, Egypt.
In reverse order of application:
"CAIRO (EGYPT) 29 X 01" handstamp.
"SUEZ 28 X 01" handstamp
"SEA POST OFFICE  A 01 1900"
"MADRAS 17 PC. 01"
Minor corner creasing.  Horizontal crease.  Small tear bottom left.  Small tear at left. Small skuff on the rear.  Signed "L. B. Chamberlain."
