    Description

    I made this beautiful display stand out of solid Cherry. It is shown with my replica 1858 Remington revolver with an 8" barrel,
    which is not included in this auction
    . With a simple change of the barrel support it could also accommodate a similar sized DA revolver. This stand is 16" long X 3.5" wide X 3/4" thick. For Cap & Ball revolvers the barrel support is notched for the loading lever and of course, stand is routed to hold the pistol butt. It is finished with hand rubbed Boiled Linseed Oil (which sinks into the pores of the wood) and is padded with brown felt in the barrel support and in the grip well.
    I can also make stands from Oak and Walnut. Special orders are always welcome.
