This is a brand new old stock tube.
This is a 6 prong tube; it is
not
an octal base.
When restoring or repairing a vintage radio the magic eye indicator tube often needs replacement.  This is a brand new TOYO brand 6E5 tube, sometimes called a "6E5 eyelid tube".  It has a 6 pin socket and is NOT COMPATIBLE with 6E5C 6E5G 6E5P or 6E5S.
The tube is stocked in upstate NY and will ship to you within 2 business days of receipt of payment.
I have owned a professional electronic service business for over 50 years and know that just like any other facet of the business, vintage or antique radio repair needs a reliable replacement part source.  I have sold around 350 of these tubes, both wholesale and retail.  To date I have had 1 - yes, only 1 - returned for exchange.
