    Description

    One, new in original box,  Sylvania  #83 tube with the tall, shouldered glass bulb. Black plates, yellow logo bases. This tube is most commonly used in Hickok tube testers- and is critical to their proper functioning. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated, just to make sure. Firm bases. Tubes test at 165+/-3 on both plates where pass/fail is 80. These are relative numbers and do not indicate percentages. The price is for ONE tube only, however ten are available. Tubes have the same structure inside and out, having matching date codes of "ER EAJ", US made, mid 1970's.
