CLEANING TIPS: Our fittings are made from malleable iron which is similar to cast iron. All iron rusts so our pipe fittings are shipped with a thin layer of anti-rust oil to ensure you receive rust-free fittings. They are not filthy with dirt, it’s simply the oil reacting with the iron. To remove the oil simply wipe the fittings down with a damp paper towel and dish soap. Once wiped down, dry immediately and the project using either spray paint, or polyurethane.
DECORATIVE FITTINGS: All fittings are designed and manufactured for furniture and other non-plumbing projects. Our fittings are not pressure rated and should never be used for water or gas projects.
